Eroded by wind and rain over many long years, this large rock is said to resemble the figure of Amida Nyorai. This 4.8-meter image is also known as the Joroku Amida, a name derived from its height in traditional units of measurement, and good fortune is said to come to those who see the resemblance to the Amida Buddha in this rock.
